CELEBRATION
Tet Que Nha 2024
Our client wanted to bring together 70 adults and 20 children from across Vietnam. Each guest carried their own version of T ết shaped by family traditions, hometown customs, and childhood memories. The goal was to create a shared experience where every guest could find a piece of home. How can we archive the sense of belonging while recreating memories that everyone has different versions of?

SOLUTION
Our Approach
Instead of designing a single programme, we designed a cultural landscape.
Guests were invited to explore Tết through more than 30 simultaneous activities, workshops, performances, games, food experiences, and cultural encounters. Every participant could follow their own curiosity, creating a different journey through the event. Children learned through play while adults rediscovered traditions. The experience became less about watching and more about participating.

BRINGING THE IDEA TO LIFE
Tet Que Nha
A large bamboo village gate welcomed guests into the celebration, inspired by traditional Northern Vietnamese communal entrances. Throughout the venue, regional references appeared through floral displays, market inspired installations, traditional materials, and cultural artifacts collected from across the country. At the heart of the experience stood a rare historical artifact that served as a reminder that behind every celebration lies a deeper story about memory, continuity, and family.

THE OUTCOME
What began as an event became a tradition
The bamboo gateway was intentionally preserved after the celebration, transforming a temporary installation into a permanent reminder of the experience.
More importantly, guests left with a stronger connection not only to Vietnamese culture, but to one another. Tết Quê Nhà demonstrated that meaningful cultural experiences are not created by presenting information. They are created by giving people the opportunity to discover, participate, and share stories together.
